Carbon20 is an ESG software and data infrastructure platform: it unifies fragmented sustainability data into a single, auditable foundation and generates CSRD and VSME reports compliant with European legislation.
CSRD (Directive (EU) 2022/2464) extends sustainability reporting obligations to a far larger number of EU organizations. It applies gradually to large companies, then to listed SMEs, with indirect impact on suppliers in the value chain.
ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards) are the standards developed by EFRAG that define exactly what information must be reported: 10 topical standards (E1–E5, S1–S4, G1) plus the cross-cutting ESRS 2. The platform covers all of them.
Double materiality assesses both the organization's impact on the environment and society (impact materiality) and how sustainability topics affect the organization financially (financial materiality). The platform provides a visual matrix and AI suggestions.
